The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dooseldorf lunges at Escobar with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Escobar's hand.

Escobar uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dooseldorf.

Escobar digs a right hand underneath Dooseldorf's ribcage. Dooseldorf let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Henry Dooseldorf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Dooseldorf is countered with a crisp right hand from Escobar that sends him to the canvas! Escobar follows him to the mat into side control.

Escobar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Escobar is looking to work his way around to Dooseldorf's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
