Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scunter Munt (ranked 3052 p4p, 5074 weight class) and Calvin Clifford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Munt gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Munt is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Clifford is controlling him.
Munt is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Clifford dives into side control.
Clifford cracks Munt with a big right hand but Munt just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Clifford controls the position from side control.
Clifford is working Munt over with some ground and pound from side control.
Clifford has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Munt is trying to control Clifford's posture but Clifford avoids it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Clifford tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Clifford has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Munt is working to avoid the ground and pound but Clifford connects with a decent elbow.
Clifford fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Munt tries to bench press Clifford off him but Clifford keeps the position.

Munt seems a little lost for a moment, as Clifford dominates the positioning.

Clifford's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Munt is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Clifford asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Clifford lands a decent elbow from side control.

Clifford fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Munt, pushing him back against the cage.

Munt throws a strike but Clifford rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Clifford is looking to stand up but Munt won't let him.
Clifford keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Munt's head.

Clifford takes a little break here. Munt wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Clifford is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Munt's shoulder. That is not cool.

Clifford has hold of Munt's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Munt seems comfortable defending it but Clifford has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Munt is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Munt is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Clifford couldn't care less - he's delighted!
