The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Derrick misses with a head kick.
As Derrick looks to move away, Ivanovich throws a big counter combo but Derrick just gets out of the way.
Ivanovich scores with a three punch combo!
Derrick shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Derrick tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Derrick has a takedown stuffed.
Ivanovich scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Derrick closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ivanovich circles away.

Derrick gets caught napping as Ivanovich dives in and scores a takedown. Derrick manages to retain guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
