Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ruma Juttu (ranked 23320 p4p, 2328 weight class) and Theodore Epicity (ranked 790 p4p, 330 weight class). Epicity has chosen Tempest by Deftones as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Theodore Epicity was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ruma Juttu!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Theodore Epicity!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Epicity lunges at Juttu with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Juttu's hand.
Epicity lands the left hand.
Juttu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Epicity looks to land a body kick but Juttu moved away.
Epicity has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Epicity throws a nice outside leg kick.
Juttu throws a body punch but Epicity moves out of range.
Epicity misses with a hook.
Epicity is looking to slow Juttu down with leg kicks.
Epicity bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Juttu's head.
Epicity tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Juttu is able to avoid easily.
Juttu ducks under a wild hook from Epicity.
A head kick from Epicity lands but Juttu takes it in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Epicity has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Juttu finds it's way round the side to connect with Epicity's head.

Epicity throws the kick towards the body but Juttu avoids it.
Juttu tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Epicity tries a quick counter leg kick but Juttu is wise to it.
Juttu seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Epicity walks into a straight right hand from Juttu.
Epicity throws a series of punches but Juttu avoids them all with ease.
Juttu swings for the body but Epicity moves out of range.
Epicity throws a big counter head kick but Juttu avoids it with no problem.

Epicity tries to land a front kick but Juttu steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Juttu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

A decent looking cross lands there for Epicity.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Juttu moves out of range as Epicity throws a body kick.
Juttu takes a swing at Epicity's ribcage but misses.
Juttu throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Juttu tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Epicity is able to avoid easily.
Epicity looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Epicity misses with an uppercut
and Juttu counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Epicity to the mat! Juttu runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Epicity is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!
Epicity throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Juttu with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Juttu lands with a nice body punch.
Epicity uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Juttu.
Donk. Juttu catches Epicity right on the button with a cross.

Juttu swings for the body but Epicity moves out of range.
Epicity checks a low kick from Juttu.
Epicity does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Juttu is looking to wear down Epicity with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Epicity throws an off balance right hand
and Juttu counters with a left to the body.
Epicity tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Juttu thumps Epicity with a low kick.
Donk. Epicity catches Juttu right on the button with a cross.
Crunch! Juttu slams his shin into Epicity's torso.
Epicity looks winded!
Epicity bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Juttu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Epicity throws out the jab.
Juttu cracks Epicity with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Epicity is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Epicity is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
It looks like Theodore Epicity has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Juttu scores with a jab to the head.

Juttu tries to work over Epicity's front leg with a kick but Epicity checks it.
Epicity scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
An inside leg kick lands from Juttu.
Epicity misses with a lunging right hand
and Juttu makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Epicity throws a lazy uppercut
and Juttu counters with a nice kick to the body.
Juttu lands a head kick that bluckles Epicity and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Juttu no doubt looking to push for a finish!

Epicity's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

and Juttu counters with a lovely shot to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ruma Juttu takes that one as he scored multiple knockdowns. Theodore Epicity was lucky to get out of the first round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Epicity takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Epicity ducks into a a hook from Juttu and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!
Epicity is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Juttu scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Epicity to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Juttu away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Epicity got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Epicity is still on wobbly legs! Can Juttu finish him?
Juttu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Epicity.
Epicity seems to have recovered his senses.
Juttu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Theodore Epicity seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Epicity is up to one knee.... 8,9.... He's up! The referee says he's good to go, so we're back to the action!

Epicity walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Epicity is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
