Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Young (ranked 6157 p4p, 5035 weight class) and Johnny Atkins (ranked 563 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Atkins 's choice of entrance music: The Zoo. Young has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Troy Young has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young throws a lazy right hand but Atkins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Young lands with a right hand.
Young is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Atkins .
Young pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Troy Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Young lands with a hook. Atkins tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Young misses with a hook
and Atkins counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Young!
Young is breathing heavily.
Atkins is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Young is trying to escape and Atkins transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Young is forced to tap! Nice work there by Atkins ! Very nice indeed!
