Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Hill (ranked 5152 p4p, 4945 weight class) and The Truth Hurts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Caleb Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, The Truth Hurts! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Hill stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Hurts dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Hill will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hurts up against the cage. Hurts looking for a takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hurts is defending well. Hill is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Hill is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hurts pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caleb Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hurts escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill has Hurts up against the cage in a clinch.
Hill ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hill no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Hill pulls Hurts in close to his closed guard and prevents Hurts from doing any damage or advancing position. Hill is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hill controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hurts looks winded! Hurts trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hill in particular looking to stall. Hill scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Hill is taking a breather. Hurts says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Nice strikes from Hill there. Hill keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hill's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hill sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hill breaks from Hurts's wrist control and lands an elbow. Hill controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hill has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee warns Hurts that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hill takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Hill is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Hill extends the arm and Hurts is forced to tap!
