Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pedro De Campo (ranked 6587 p4p, 3785 weight class) and Rousso Phobe (ranked 328 p4p, 214 weight class). Rousso Phobe is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pedro De Campo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rousso Phobe!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phobe moves away from the strike by De Campo.
Phobe wants to counter the offense by De Campo and move into the clinch position.

Phobe scores with a takedown into De Campo's guard.
Phobe throws a big right hand that misses.

Phobe got a little sloppy there for a moment and De Campo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Phobe has managed to get both his arms back between De Campo's legs - danger averted.
Phobe works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Phobe content to control rather than advance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
De Campo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Phobe swivels and escapes.

Phobe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in De Campo's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

De Campo lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Phobe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as De Campo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
De Campo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
De Campo wants to control from the top but Phobe keeps moving.

Phobe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

De Campo wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Phobe is now in half guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Phobe is on top in guard.

Phobe stands up and waves to De Campo to follow him.
Rousso Phobe is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Phobe manages to get an easy takedown there - catching De Campo on his heels. He'll look to pass De Campo's guard now, I'm sure.

Phobe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. De Campo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rousso Phobe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Phobe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
