Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Sunshine (ranked 3799 p4p, 5431 weight class) and Justin Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sunshine has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Raymond Sunshine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Justin Cook! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sunshine looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Cook closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sunshine did well to prevent Cook getting side control. Sunshine tries to roll over but Cook keeps him under control. Cook lands strikes from half guard. Cook looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Sunshine looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sunshine wants to control the action here but instead Cook manages to pass to full mount! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sunshine working to try and regain half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sunshine trying to control the position from guard on top but Cook is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sunshine stays in close to Cook's body and controls the position. Sunshine has gone for a leg lock! Cook slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sunshine's guard. Sunshine wants to sweep here but Cook controlling him for the moment. Cook throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sunshine works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sunshine tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sunshine being controlled here, momentarily. Cook trying to control but Sunshine is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sunshine controls Cook momentarily but Cook frees himself. Cook must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sunshine tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sunshine working for a triangle but Cook defends it easily.
Sunshine has momentary wrist control but Cook slips an elbow through the middle. Sunshine manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cook manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cook keeping full guard, as Sunshine tries to pass. Cook manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Sunshine dives in and grabs Cook's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cook pushes down on Sunshine's head and hops out. Cook shapes to counter with a head kick. Sunshine doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cook counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raymond Sunshine. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sunshine is breathing heavily. Sunshine gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sunshine wants to sweep here but Cook controlling him for the moment. Cook slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sunshine is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sunshine is working to avoid the ground and pound but Cook connects with a decent elbow. Cook is looking to take a break and control but Sunshine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sunshine trying to remain calm as Cook controls from the top position. Cook really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sunshine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cook working the body and head with strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cook looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sunshine is trying to improve his position. Cook stands up and we're back to a striking position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Cook dominated that round. The cut man is working on Raymond Sunshine's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sunshine throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cook was covering up waiting for the punch and Sunshine finishes the takedown easily into guard. Cook manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Sunshine misses with a takedown and Cook counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Raymond Sunshine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cook lands with a nice combination. Sunshine backs away looking to recover. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cook drives through and clinches with Sunshine against the cage.
Cook's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cook feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Sunshine is rocked! Cook stands up from Sunshine's guard - Cook perhaps looking for a knockout. Oh Sunshine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cook clinches up with Sunshine and pushes him back against the cage. Sunshine seems to have got his legs back now. Cook has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sunshine uses from the top position. Sunshine trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sunshine stopping the sweep attempt from Cook. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cook can do anything to dispel that myth. Cook working a defensive guard here.

Sunshine advances to half guard. Sunshine passes the guard and advances to mount! Cook is desperately trying to improve his position but Sunshine has a good base and remains in mount. Sunshine is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cook to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cook shrugs it off. Sunshine looking to control but Cook is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Cook can't escape the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sunshine doesn't have the hooks in and Cook manages to turn into his guard.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sunshine is defended easily by Cook. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sunshine. Cook is trying to buck Sunshine off. Cook struggling a bit here. Sunshine in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Cook is tapping!
