Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sam Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jackson The Surfer!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Surfer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The Surfer trying to control but Fisher is working from the bottom.
The Surfer postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The Surfer throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Surfer scoring with punches to the head and body.
The Surfer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The Surfer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The Surfer connects with a couple of short punches.

The Surfer gets to his feet - Fisher follows without any prompting.
Fisher scores with a one two! The Surfer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Fisher lands with a right hand.

The Surfer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Fisher is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The Surfer seems to be working for a kimura but Fisher defends the submission attempt.
The Surfer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fisher with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Oh Fisher is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. The Surfer connects with a nice short shot to Fisher's temple.
The Surfer prevents Fisher from standing back up.
The Surfer lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The Surfer lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Fisher! More strikes land and this one is all over! The Surfer jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jackson The Surfer!
