Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mikal Goon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lance Rip!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goon takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Goon avoids the body shot from Rip.
Rip throws a right hand that misses
and Goon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A left and a right from Goon both land. Nice combination.
Rip throws a shot from downtown. Goon moves away and avoids it.
It looked like Goon wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Rip connects with a nice looking jab.
Rip misses with a left hand
and Rip takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rip throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rip throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rip throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Goon swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Lance Rip seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rip throws a body shot but no joy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Goon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rip.
Nice defenses there by Goon.
Rip moves forwards but Goon connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Goon slips under a jab from Rip.
Goon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Goon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rip throws the left hand but Goon avoids the punch easily.
Rip misses with a lunging right hand
letting Goon counter with a right hand.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rip darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rip misses with a hook
and Goon counters with a nice uppercut.
A jab from Rip misses.
Goon is looking to counter punch.
Goon slips a straight right by Rip.
It looked like Goon wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Goon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rip.
Rip throws a jab when Goon was well out of range.
Rip throws a lazy uppercut
and Goon counters with a nice uppercut.
Rip misses with a hook
and Goon counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Rip throws a hook but Goon blocks it.
Rip throws a right hand that misses
and Goon counters with a left to the body.
Rip takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Goon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rip throws an off balance right hand
and Rip takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rip lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Rip uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Goon is rocked!
Goon avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rip throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Goon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rip.
It looked like Goon wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Rip drops Goon with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Goon looks back up at him and smiles so Rip waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Goon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Mikal Goon has been cut.
Goon scores with a sloppy right hand. Rip should have avoided that one.
Goon moves away from the strike by Rip.
Rip jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Goon walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Rip swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
