Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phil Rivers (ranked 2946 p4p, 4624 weight class) and Rudenko Kyrylenko (ranked 390 p4p, 539 weight class). Rudenko Kyrylenko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phil Rivers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rudenko Kyrylenko! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kyrylenko steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Rivers. Kyrylenko rushes Rivers and presses him up against the cage. Kyrylenko is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Rivers prevents the takedown attempt.

Rivers looks to land a left hand but Kyrylenko moved out of range nicely. Rivers lands a nice shot that snaps Kyrylenko's head back.
