Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Deer Hunter (ranked 6504 p4p, 2406 weight class) and Mick Green (ranked 615 p4p, 291 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deer Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mick Green!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Green counters with a nice body shot.
Hunter lands a leg kick that knocks Green off balance momentarily.
Hunter has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Green lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Green fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Green crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hunter - the referee stops the clock and Green gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hunter. Green manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Green is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hunter had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Green's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hunter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Green scrambles back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Deer Hunter will probably get the nod.

Well Hunter has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
