PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Husein Magomaevaboff (ranked 546 p4p, 782 weight class) and Henrique Rosa (ranked 82 p4p, 112 weight class). Magomaevaboff comes to the cage accompanied by Shaolin of Dagestan. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Magomaevaboff.
Rosa goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
As Rosa tries to get set, Magomaevaboff tries to push him back and clinch up but Rosa manages to avoid the attempt.
Magomaevaboff throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Rosa counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Magomaevaboff has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Chakuriki LA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Rosa clobbers Magomaevaboff with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and Rosa finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

and Magomaevaboff counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Magomaevaboff throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rosa throws out a counter right but Magomaevaboff avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rosa now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Rosa replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Magomaevaboff blocks it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Magomaevaboff moves in looking to clinch but Rosa pushes him off.

Rosa bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Magomaevaboff's head.

Magomaevaboff lands a big uppercut and Rosa crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rosa looks OK. Magomaevaboff waves Rosa back to his feet!
