Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brett Stone (ranked 3605 p4p, 4642 weight class) and Big Mouth (ranked 341 p4p, 410 weight class). Mouth has chosen Dominick as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brett Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Big Mouth!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone gets a double leg takedown into Mouth's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Mouth manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Mouth blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Mouth has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Mouth blocks the elbow strike.
Mouth tries to circle away but Stone has him pinned against the cage.
Stone scores with a shot to the side of Mouth's head.

Mouth breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stone shoots in but Mouth avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mouth misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mouth throws a series of punches but Stone moves out of range.
Stone tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Mouth manages to circle out of the way.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stone tries to clinch up.
Stone steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mouth. That one must have hurt.
Mouth slips under a jab from Stone.
Mouth fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Mouth throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease.

Stone pushes Mouth up against the cage in a clinch.
Stone is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mouth is defending well for now.

Mouth breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sloppy strikes from Mouth. Those never looked like landing.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mouth looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stone misses with a lunging right hand
and Mouth counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stone's knee momentarily.
Nice body kick from Mouth.
Stone shoots for a takedown but Mouth saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Stone shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Stone takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stone connects with a nice short shot to Mouth's temple.
Stone thows a huge punch but Mouth dodges it nicely.
Stone is taking a breather. Mouth says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stone connects with a nice short shot to Mouth's temple.

Stone is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mouth has managed to free his arm - good work.

Stone is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Stone stops Mouth from getting back to his feet.
Stone perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Stone looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mouth with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Stone stalling.

Stone seems to be looking for submissions.
Stone is stalling here. Mouth is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Stone seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mouth has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Stone gets back to half guard.

Stone makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stone.

Stone pulls Mouth in close to prevent any damage.
Mouth would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Mouth won't allow Stone to sweep him here.
Stone is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Big Mouth will probably get the nod.

Mouth dips to his left and cracks Stone with an uppercut!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Stone showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mouth.

Stone has closed the distance and engaged Mouth in a clinch.
Stone is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mouth is defending well for now.

Stone throws an elbow that misses.
Mouth tries to circle away but Stone has him pinned against the cage.
Stone lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mouth backwards.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mouth is trying to break free.
Stone throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Mouth is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Stone misses with some punches.

Mouth's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Big Mouth is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Stone shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stone showed some decent athleticism there.
Mouth looks like he's trying to stand up.
Stone working Mouth over with strikes.
Stone lands strikes from half guard.
Stone is trying to control the action in half guard but Mouth is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Stone winds up and cracks Mouth with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Stone seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Mouth wants to get back to his feet.

Stone is keen to just control but Mouth is a slippery customer.
Mouth is trying to stand up here but Stone is controlling him well.
Stone winds up and cracks Mouth with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Stone lands with a punch from half guard.

Mouth is rocked!

Stone is working for a submission of some sort.
Mouth is still in real trouble! Can Stone finish him?
Mouth pushes Stone off but Stone dives into side control.
Mouth seems to have recovered his senses.

Stone moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Stone landing strikes.
Mouth is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Brett Stone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Stone scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Mouth is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Stone can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
