Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cesare Tiramanti (ranked 933 p4p, 1026 weight class) and Augusto Pinochet (ranked 144 p4p, 157 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pinochet's choice of entrance music: I Need a Pinochet. Cesare Tiramanti has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cesare Tiramanti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Augusto Pinochet! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tiramanti misses with a hook. Pinochet swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Pinochet throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tiramanti sees it coming and avoids it easily. Tiramanti tries to score with a low kick but Pinochet moves his leg out of the way. Pinochet gets off balance looking for a body kick and Tiramanti connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Augusto Pinochet has been cut. Pinochet misses with a straight left. Cesare Tiramanti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tiramanti throws a jab when Pinochet was well out of range. Tiramanti staying out of range there. Pinochet misses with a combination
and Tiramanti connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A slow jab from Tiramanti misses its intended target. A little jabbing left from Pinochet on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Good standup being displayed there by Tiramanti as he connects with a hook. Tiramanti misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinochet slips a jab and a cross from Tiramanti.
Pinochet ducks under a wild hook from Tiramanti. And Pinochet responds with a good body kick, but Tiramanti manages to step out the way in time. Pinochet ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pinochet throws a body punch but Tiramanti moves out of range. Tiramanti swings widly with a right hand
and Pinochet counters with a slapping leg kick. Pinochet misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tiramanti.
Tiramanti wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Tiramanti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pinochet moves away. Pinochet's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tiramanti connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pinochet scrambles back to his feet. Tiramanti is looking to slow Pinochet down with leg kicks. Tiramanti uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Pinochet is rocked! Pinochet has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tiramanti misses the jab. Pinochet is still on wobbly legs! Can Tiramanti finish him? Tiramanti pounces like a tiger and cracks Pinochet with a vicious hook! Pinochet is down but not out! Tiramanti follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Cesare Tiramanti! Cesare Tiramanti was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
