The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiramanti misses with a hook.
Pinochet swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Pinochet throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tiramanti sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tiramanti tries to score with a low kick but Pinochet moves his leg out of the way.

and Tiramanti connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Augusto Pinochet has been cut.

Cesare Tiramanti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

And Pinochet responds with a good body kick, but Tiramanti manages to step out the way in time.

Tiramanti wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Tiramanti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pinochet moves away.
Pinochet's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tiramanti connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pinochet scrambles back to his feet.
Tiramanti is looking to slow Pinochet down with leg kicks.
Tiramanti uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Pinochet has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Tiramanti pounces like a tiger and cracks Pinochet with a vicious hook! Pinochet is down but not out! Tiramanti follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
