PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Rbn (ranked 2811 p4p, 4258 weight class) and Anthon Van Der Dusse (ranked 283 p4p, 401 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Rbn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthon Van Der Dusse!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rbn scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Van Der Dusse uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rbn.
Van Der Dusse tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Van Der Dusse closes the distance and clinches up with Rbn, looking for a takedown. Van Der Dusse pushes Rbn against the cage but Rbn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
