Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dru Quick (ranked 22999 p4p, 3099 weight class) and Oson Bon (ranked 213 p4p, 123 weight class). Quick comes to the ring accompanied by Gangster's Paradise- Coolio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Quick thinking.
Bon misses with a wild body shot.
Quick has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Quick.

and Bon counters with a solid body kick.
Bon tried to score with a low kick but Quick checks it.
Bon misses with a hook. Quick ducked under it nicely.

Quick closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Bon crashing to the mat! Bon uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Bon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Quick cracks Bon with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Bon is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Bon is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

Bon let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Bon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Bon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Quick counters with a big right hand that sends Bon crashing to the mat! He's very wobbly - can he beat the count?! 5,6,7,8... he's up! No, he's down again! 9,10! He's done! The referee calls an end to the bout - Quick takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Dru Quick!
A relieved looking Dru Quick thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
