Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jon Erikson (ranked 3216 p4p, 2391 weight class) and Thom Tharrier (ranked 67 p4p, 97 weight class). Erikson comes to the ring accompanied by Gåte - Statt Opp. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Erikson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thom Tharrier!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erikson scores with a three punch combo!
Tharrier swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Erikson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tharrier.
Erikson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Tharrier feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Eriksons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Jon Erikson has been cut.
Erikson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tharrier cracks Erikson with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Erikson is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Erikson is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Erikson could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Thom Tharrier!
