The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross avoids the head kick by Le Hamme.
Ross leaves Le Hamme with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ross feints the counter takedown.
Le Hamme throws a body kick that misses.
Ross is looking for the big counter here.
Le Hamme closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ross counters with a shoot takedown. Le Hamme fights it but they end up in guard.
Le Hamme wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ross manages to pass to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Le Hamme is kicking away at Ross from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Ross grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Le Hamme trying to push Ross off... Le Hamme taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
