Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hero Shima (ranked 925 p4p, 1246 weight class) and Ultima Kekkonen (ranked 126 p4p, 163 weight class). Shima comes into the arena with C. R. E. A. M blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kekkonen throws a lazy right hand but Shima sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Shima throws a looping overhand right but Kekkonen ducks down to avoid it.
Shima is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Shima closes the distance and pushes Kekkonen back into the cage.
Shima lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

I was talking to Shima's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Shima just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kekkonen's brow.
Shima lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Shima tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kekkonen just stands there and leans against the cage.

Shima rushes Kekkonen and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Kekkonen is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Shima piles on the pressure and Kekkonen crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Hero Shima thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
