Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Vasilyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Huzberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huzberg comes into a darkened arena with his song building. go to sleep -Eminem- kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huzberg fails in his attempt to clinch.

Vasilyev clinches up against the cage.
Vasilyev keeps control of Huzberg as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Huzberg wants to stall.
Vasilyev lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Vasilyev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Vasilyev darts in and clinches Huzberg up against the cage.
Huzberg tries to land knees in the clinch but Vasilyev avoids the damage to the body.
Vasilyev blocks an elbow strike.

Vasilyev manages to break the clinch.

Vasilyev fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Huzberg, pushing him back against the cage.

Vasilyev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pavel Vasilyev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vasilyev looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Huzberg!
Vasilyev controlling the position easily from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huzberg is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Vasilyev lands a big shot there that rocks Huzberg but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Vasilyev jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Huzberg manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Huzberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vasilyev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Huzberg is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Vasilyev is controlling him well.

Vasilyev has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Huzberg is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Vasilyev yanks on the arm and Huzberg is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Vasilyev.
