This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Jurumin Silva! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Marcus Delgado! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Jorge Garcia.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Silva tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Delgado counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Silva (0) vs (4) Delgado The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva is not content to let Delgado control the position. Silva is looking for a sweep.
Delgado working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Delgado tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva is looking to reverse the position.

Delgado tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Delgado has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Silva is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Silva wants to control but Delgado postures up.

Silva has his foot on Delgado's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Delgado works his way back into a safe position though. Delgado pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Silva is keeping the position for now. Delgado is still trying to improve position.
Delgado got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Delgado has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted. Silva looking to control.

Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Delgado gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Delgado postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Delgado wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Delgado stopping the sweep attempt from Silva. Delgado trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Silva looking for a triangle here. Delgado is fighting it but it looks tight! Silva pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Delgado is tapping out - this one is all over!
