This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 4 losses; Numero Deux! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Mike Kerr!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Kerr tries to clinch but Deux moves out of range.
Deux darts in and clinches Kerr up against the cage.
Deux manages to pull guard.
Deux looking for a sweep. Not yet Deux, not yet.
Kerr wants to pass the guard but Deux is keeping the position.
Deux seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Kerr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Deux has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kerr has managed to get both his arms back between Deux's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Deux has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kerr doesn't defend quickly enough and Deux has managed to lock this one up! Can Kerr escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Deux on a fantastic submission victory.
