Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Materlak throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Aspirin on the side of the head.
Materlak scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Materlak will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Aspirin takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Materlak has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Aspirin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Materlak finds it's way round the side to connect with Aspirin's head.

Aspirin takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Materlak throws a leg kick which misses Aspirin's front leg but catches the back leg as Aspirin tries to avoid it.
Aspirin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Materlak feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Aspirins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Aspirin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Michal Materlak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Materlak has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Aspirin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Aspirin is rocked!
Materlak fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Aspirin on the side of the head.
Oh Aspirin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Aspirin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Materlak sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aspirin somewhat.

Materlak cracks Aspirin on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Aspirin falls backwards against the cage. Materlak follows up with more strikes that drop Aspirin to his knees. Materlak keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Aspirin! This one is all over!

Michal Materlak got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
