Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy King (ranked 2042 p4p, 2065 weight class) and Havar Bjornbak (ranked 255 p4p, 256 weight class). Bjornbak is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Danheim - Berserkir. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Havar Bjornbak! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bjornbak scores with a crisp jab that stopped King in his tracks. King swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Bjornbak has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bjornbak wanted to stand there but King had control of the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

King shoots for a takedown but Bjornbak saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. King drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bjornbak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. King wants to control from the top but Bjornbak keeps moving. King throws a strike but Bjornbak rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bjornbak trying to stand up but can't free himself from King's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bjornbak is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. King wants to stand and escape but Bjornbak is having none of it. Bjornbak wanted to stand there but King had control of the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bjornbak is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bjornbak stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows King to get to his feet. Bjornbak connects with an inside leg kick. Bjornbak throws a hook to the side of King's head but King sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bjornbak thows a left - swing and a miss! King takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. King avoids a low kick by using good footwork. King is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. King tries to shoot in for a takedown. King does a little dance to reset his feet. King seems to have got his legs back now. The fighters circle momentarily. Bjornbak darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. King throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bjornbak was covering up waiting for the punch and King finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bjornbak throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck King on the side of the head. King takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

As Bjornbak tries to get set, King tries to push him back and clinch up but Bjornbak manages to avoid the attempt. King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bjornbak circles away. Bjornbak scores with a hook. Bjornbak staying out of range there. Jimmy King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bjornbak's hands are dropping dangerously low here and King connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bjornbak scrambles back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Havar Bjornbak comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bjornbak winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
