The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Holmes misses the jab.
Martin throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Holmes tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Martin blocks a head kick by Holmes.
Holmes scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Holmes has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Martin.

It looks like Hans Holmes has been cut.
Martin has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Holmes tries to score with a low kick but Martin moves his leg out of the way.
Both fighters circling a little - Martin finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Martin fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Martin lands a big head kick that sends Holmes tumbling to the mat! Martin takes a step backwards and waves Holmes back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Holmes is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Martin feints a jab and as Holmes dips his head, Martin unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Holmes right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Holmes falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Martin smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
