Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tama Ruiha (ranked 1999 p4p, 3993 weight class) and Bo Kennedy (ranked 287 p4p, 527 weight class). Ruiha comes into the arena with Polynesian Traditional Music blaring out of the sound system. Tama Ruiha has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tama Ruiha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bo Kennedy ! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kennedy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ruiha as he avoids it easily. Kennedy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Kennedy misses with a takedown and Ruiha counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Bo Kennedy has been cut. Kennedy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. It looked like Ruiha was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Tama Ruiha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bo Kennedy . Kennedy tries for a takedown but Ruiha circles away easily letting Ruiha counter with a right hand. Kennedy dives in for a single leg takedown but Ruiha sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Ruiha wants to clinch up but Kennedy keeps it at a distance. Kennedy drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ruiha defends it well. Ruiha seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Ruiha works Kennedy 's body with a nice hook. Ruiha's corner calls for a 1-2. Ruiha obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Kennedy drops his hands for a split second and Ruiha immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Kennedy face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Ruiha follows up with a right hand that knocks Kennedy into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tama Ruiha! A very excited looking Tama Ruiha rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
