Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kanud Odimabesser (ranked 4981 p4p, 4832 weight class) and Ace Purple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kanud Odimabesser! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ace Purple! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Odimabesser clinches up against the cage. Purple swings wildly with an uppercut but Odimabesser uses good head movement to avoid it. Purple lands a shoulder strike. Purple tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Purple misses with a short punch on the inside. Odimabesser successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Odimabesser keeping moving, preventing Purple from controlling successfully. Purple wanted to stand there but Odimabesser had control of the position. Odimabesser seems keen to control Purple's posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Odimabesser has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Purple trying to control the position from guard on top but Odimabesser is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Odimabesser looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Purple wants to stand but Odimabesser has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Odimabesser pulls Purple in close to prevent any damage. Purple would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Purple wants to control from the top but Odimabesser keeps moving. Purple wants to get up but he can't break Odimabesser's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Odimabesser wants to sweep here but Purple controlling him for the moment. Purple trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Purple really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Odimabesser. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Odimabesser tries to land a sweep but no joy. Purple trying to control but Odimabesser is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Purple wanted to stand there but Odimabesser had control of the position. Odimabesser seems keen to control Purple's posture. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Odimabesser is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Purple rolls with it to try and escape but Odimabesser cranks on the arm and Purple is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
