The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JAMES swings and misses with a hook to the body.
JAMES throws a solid leg kick but Swanson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at JAMES.
Swanson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Nice straight punches there by Swanson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Swanson.
Decent striking displayed by Swanson there.
Swanson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but JAMES moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Swanson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
A punch combination from Swanson misses.
Swanson takes a kick to the side of the head.
Swanson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Swanson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Swanson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
JAMES stops Swanson from passing to mount.

Swanson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
JAMES is looking for a sweep.
Swanson is putting a hurting on JAMES here, landing some big shots from side control.

Swanson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but JAMES is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Swanson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. JAMES is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Swanson yanks on the arm and JAMES is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Swanson.
