Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sadio Mane (ranked 23999 p4p, 4688 weight class) and Jan Sokol (ranked 0 p4p, 241 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Sadio Mane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Sokol! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mane fails with the takedown. Mane tries a head kick but it misses.
Sokol throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mane tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sokol is in Mane's guard. Mane is wriggling around but Sokol manages to pass to half guard.
Sokol landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Sokol stalling. Mane manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Sokol keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Sokol wants the takedown. Mane is fighting it off but Sokol persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mane's guard against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Sokol trying to control but Mane is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sokol trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mane controlling Sokol's posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mane is on top in guard.
Sokol keeping full guard, as Mane tries to pass. Sokol has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mane postures up in Sokol's guard and throws a big left but Sokol blocks it. Sokol not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sokol looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mane passes into half guard.
Mane controlling the action here. Sokol regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mane in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Mane really is a fat lump. Mane is stalling in the full guard. Mane has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Mane gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sokol to score an easy takedown into full guard. Mane uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mane shoots in and drives through. Sokol sprawls well. Mane gets a clinch. Mane manages to pull guard.
Sokol trying to control but Mane is working from the bottom. Sokol is fighting to break Mane's control of his arms but Mane is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mane wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Sokol is now in half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sadio Mane dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Mane fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sokol avoids it really well and circles away. Sokol shoots in and gets a takedown into Mane's guard. Mane is looking to stand back up but Sokol counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mane.
Sokol is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mane doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sokol. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mane is doing well to control the position and prevent Sokol from advancing to side control. Sadio Mane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mane is looking for a sweep. Sokol is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mane controlling the position well. Sokol thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Mane tries to roll over but Sokol keeps him under control. Mane manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mane is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sokol looking to sit in guard and control but Mane gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sokol not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mane controlling from the top position. Mane wants to pass the guard but Sokol is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mane looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sokol is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mane sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sokol looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mane passes into side control.
Mane is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sokol has escaped the position, nice work there. You can see the frustration on Sokol's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mane takes a little break here. Sokol wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sadio Mane dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Nice takedown defense from Sokol. No joy for Mane on that attempt. Mane clinches up against the cage. Sokol has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mane is trying to keep an underhook but Sokol manages to get the takedown into half guard. Sokol is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mane is just riding it out for now. Sokol eventually gives up the hold. Mane slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sokol advances position into side control! Sokol is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mane tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sokol wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Mane might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sokol is looking to take a break and control but Mane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mane is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sokol's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Sokol is trying to work for a kimura but Mane is defending well.
Sokol takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mane is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sokol's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sokol's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mane has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Sokol's body.
Mane has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Sokol has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Mane is persistently looking for the submission but Sokol is defending it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mane working for the choke. Sokol trying to control the hands but Mane breaks the grip. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mane struggling to land strikes to the head as Sokol covers up. A bit of a pause in the action here. Mane controlling the positon. Sokol is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Mane 's hooks. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mane throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
And that's the end of the fight! Sadio Mane showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mane, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
