Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ed Soma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ishi Kiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ed Soma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ishi Kiki! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kiki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Soma swivels and escapes. Kiki fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Soma moves into the clinch successfully.
Soma is struggling to control the position. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Kiki has Soma pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kiki pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Soma tumbling to the mat - Kiki dives into Soma's guard. Kiki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Soma is looking to stand up but Kiki isn't so interested in that idea. Soma keeping moving, preventing Kiki from controlling successfully. Soma not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kiki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kiki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kiki looking to sit in guard and control but Soma gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiki has his foot on Soma's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Soma works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Soma won't allow Kiki to sweep him here. Soma avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kiki had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Soma is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kiki Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Soma's back instead. Kiki looks gassed! Soma trying to get back to his feet but Kiki is in full control for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kiki is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Kiki is looking for the choke from the back position but Soma is controlling his hands well. Soma trying to control the hands but Kiki breaks the grip. Soma trying to survive by controlling the hands. Soma is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiki is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Soma is defending well though. Kiki let's go of the attempt for now. Kiki has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Soma knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kiki on the ground. Soma controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Soma is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kiki looking for the choke from the back. Kiki working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Soma trying to get back to his feet but Kiki is in full control for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ishi Kiki dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A big left from Soma misses. Soma tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kiki paws at him with a jab and circles away. A cross from Soma lands. Kiki changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kiki tries for a takedown but Soma sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kiki ducks under a wild hook from Soma. Soma scores with a takedown into Kiki's guard. Soma wants to control from the top but Kiki keeps moving. Kiki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Soma wants to get back to his feet. Kiki seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Soma's chin but Soma turns very nicely into Kiki's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Soma.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Soma wants to stand but Kiki is controlling his posture from full guard. Soma gets to his feet. Kiki looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Kiki bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kiki goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Soma rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kiki's guard! Nice work there by Soma! Kiki throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kiki has a closed guard, preventing Soma from standing up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kiki is on top in guard.
Soma looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Soma keeping moving, preventing Kiki from controlling successfully. Kiki won't allow Soma to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ishi Kiki will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Soma cracks Kiki with an open hand slap. Soma misses with a body shot.
Soma stuffs the takedown attempt from Kiki. Kiki gets slowly back to his feet. Soma slips a jab and a cross from Kiki.
Kiki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Soma as he jumps to the side. Kiki fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ed Soma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ishi Kiki. Kiki decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kiki trying to pass the guard but Soma defending well. Soma is trying to stand.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Soma is not content to let Kiki control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiki is working for a kimura but Soma is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Soma kicks off Kiki and gets to his feet. Kiki shoots in looking for a takedown. Soma tries to sprawl out of it but Kiki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Soma manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kiki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Soma.

Soma throws a jab but it's blocked by Kiki. Kiki doesn't succeed with the takedown and Soma counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kiki's guard now. Kiki looking for a guillotine here but Soma defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiki tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ishi Kiki has got the better of the ground game so far. Kiki working for a triangle but Soma defends it easily.
Soma wants to stand but Kiki has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Kiki looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Soma passes into side control.
Ishi Kiki is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Soma content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Kiki wants to control but Soma postures up. Ed Soma has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kiki manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Soma flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

And that's the end of the fight! Ed Soma showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kiki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
