The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johansson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Babers.
Johansson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Babers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Johansson, pushing him back against the ropes.
Johansson throws an elbow but it misses.
Babers creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Johansson's defenses.

It looks like Ryan Johansson has been cut.
A short body shot lands from Babers as the two fighters clinch.
Babers throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Johanssons head.
Babers pushes Johansson back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.

That has opened up Ryan Johansson's cut even more.
