Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cj Lee!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Samuel Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins is looking to chop away at Lee's legs.
Lee appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Lee wants to slow Jenkins down by chopping away at his legs.
Jenkins swings widly with a right hand

and Lee counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Jenkins is looking for a triangle but Lee pushes his legs off easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Jenkins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.

Jenkins tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

It looks like Samuel Jenkins has been cut.
Jenkins has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Jenkins shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lee's guard.

Jenkins wants to improve his position but Lee is controlling well.

Jenkins takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Jenkins feints and as Lee raises his hands in defense, Jenkins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jenkins's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Lee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lee frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jenkins can do to turn this around?

Lee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jenkins for as long as he can get away with.

Jenkins is looking for a sweep. Lee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cj Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lee works his foot free and advances to mount.
Lee takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lee avoids the attempt from Jenkins to control.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Lee shoots in and bounces Jenkins off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Cj Lee showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Lee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
