Novoselic comes to the cage accompanied by The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here - Alice in Chains. Alex Novoselic has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Novoselic thuds his shin into the meat of Boxaaja's side.
Novoselic keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Novoselic misses with an attempted mid kick.
Boxaaja shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Novoselic as he avoids it easily.

Boxaaja closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Boxaaja lands in his opponent's guard.

Boxaaja stands and throws Novoselic's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Boxaaja is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Novoselic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Novoselic is sitting in close to Boxaaja's body. Boxaaja has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Novoselic is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Novoselic is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Boxaaja.
