Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dmitri Sa (ranked 6070 p4p, 4761 weight class) and Hel Ragnarsen (ranked 0 p4p, 519 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dmitri Sa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hel Ragnarsen! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ragnarsen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ragnarsen.
Ragnarsen feints the counter takedown. Sa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ragnarsen avoids it really well and circles away. Ragnarsen feints the counter takedown. Sa fails with the takedown. Ragnarsen misses with a wild body shot. Sa fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dmitri Sa. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sa moves into range and clinches up with Ragnarsen. Sa is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ragnarsen is defending well. Sa breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ragnarsen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ragnarsen is working an open guard so Sa takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Sa throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ragnarsen throws a head kick that misses and Sa holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Sa pulls Ragnarsen into guard.
Ragnarsen wants to get up but he can't break Sa's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Sa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Ragnarsen slips nicely into half guard. Ragnarsen trying to control the action but Sa is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sa has his hands clasped together around Ragnarsen's back. He's all about the action. Sa is trying to stand back up but Ragnarsen is controlling him
Sa is not content to let Ragnarsen control the position. Sa works his way to full guard. Good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ragnarsen trying to control the position from guard on top but Sa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sa tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ragnarsen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sa is proving hard to escape from.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ragnarsen fails with the takedown. Sa lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Ragnarsen stuffs the takedown. Sa swings for the body but Ragnarsen moves out of range.
Ragnarsen leaves Sa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ragnarsen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sa avoids it really well and circles away. Sa shoots in for a takedown but Ragnarsen shows good takedown defense. Sa is breathing heavily. Sa fails to land the takedown.

Sa fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Despite the aggression on Ragnarsen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Ragnarsen fails with the takedown. Ragnarsen dives in and grabs Sa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sa pushes down on Ragnarsen's head and hops out. Sa throws a right hand that Ragnarsen ducks under and follows up with a left that Ragnarsen also avoids with ease. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ragnarsen looks to score with a jab to the body but Sa is just out of range. Ragnarsen fails in his attempt to clinch. Ragnarsen dives in and grabs Sa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sa pushes down on Ragnarsen's head and hops out. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dmitri Sa dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Nice sprawl there from Ragnarsen as Sa shoots in. Sa lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Sa looks to land a right hand but Ragnarsen moved out of range. Sa shoots in for a takedown but Ragnarsen shows good takedown defense. Sa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ragnarsen sprawls well. Ragnarsen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sa gets slowly back to his feet. Ragnarsen replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Sa blocks it well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dmitri Sa. That's going to take a lot out of him. It looks like Dmitri Sa has been cut. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ragnarsen as he avoids it easily. Ragnarsen lands a glancing blow to the side of Sa's head. Dmitri Sa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ragnarsen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sa walks away with a smile on his face. Ragnarsen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ragnarsen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sa defends it nicely. Ragnarsen shoots for a double leg takedown but Sa sprawls well. He's pushed Ragnarsen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sa throws a quick counter head kick but Ragnarsen was just out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ragnarsen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ragnarsen wants it to stay on the feet. Sa slaps away a takedown attempt from Ragnarsen, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ragnarsen tries to clinch up but Sa circles away and keeps his distance. Sa dives in and grabs Ragnarsen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ragnarsen pushes down on Sa's head and hops out. A head kick misses from Ragnarsen. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ragnarsen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Ragnarsen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sa wants to clinch up but Ragnarsen keeps it at a distance. Ragnarsen feints the counter takedown. Ragnarsen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sa paws at him with a jab and circles away. As Ragnarsen tries to get set, Sa tries to push him back and clinch up but Ragnarsen manages to avoid the attempt. Ragnarsen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Sa gets caught napping as Ragnarsen dives in and scores a takedown. Sa manages to retain guard. Sa is controlling Ragnarsen's posture. Sa keeping moving, preventing Ragnarsen from controlling successfully. Ragnarsen tries to free his leg and advance position but Sa is retaining full guard. Ragnarsen looking to sit in guard and control but Sa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ragnarsen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sa stacks Ragnarsen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sa!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sa controls the position. Ragnarsen tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sa working away. Ragnarsen is looking for a sweep. Sa staying calm. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Hel Ragnarsen will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Dmitri Sa's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! Ragnarsen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sa counters by moving into the clinch. Ragnarsen can't get the takedown.
Ragnarsen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sa just stands there and leans against the cage. Ragnarsen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sa has him pressed against the cage. Sa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ragnarsen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dmitri Sa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hel Ragnarsen. Sa fails with a takedown attempt. Ragnarsen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sa is looking to counter with a body kick. Sa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ragnarsen's guard. Sa pushes down on Ragnarsen's leg and manages to get into half guard. Well, if Sa is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Sa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ragnarsen can do to turn this around? Sa controlling the action here. Ragnarsen wants to improve his position but Sa is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ragnarsen is in trouble now - Sa has advanced to mount! Sa controlling the pace for now. Ragnarsen wants to hold on but Sa pushes him away. Sa looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sa is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ragnarsen can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Sa lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Dmitri Sa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Sa looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sa with the ground and pound from mount. Sa in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
