Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yakup Acra (ranked 4880 p4p, 5980 weight class) and Mikal Goon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Yakup Acra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mikal Goon!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acra doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Goon counter with a right hand.
Acra gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Acra has his takedown stuffed
enabling Goon to counter with a crisp jab.
Acra with a poor takedown
and Acra takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yakup Acra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Goon cracks Acra with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Acra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Goon is fending him off so far but Acra persists. Nope, Goon circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goon lands a slapping body shot.

Acra postures up in Goon's guard and throws a big left but Goon blocks it.

Goon has his foot on Acra's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Acra works his way back into a safe position though.

Goon controls Acra momentarily but Acra frees himself.
Goon is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Yakup Acra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Goon lands a nice looking body shot.
Goon dips to his left and cracks Acra with an uppercut!

and Goon counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Goon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Acra is rocked!
Acra is breathing heavily.
Goon lands with a nice body punch.
Acra shoots in for a double leg but Goon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Oh Acra is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Goon scores with a one two! Acra had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Goon digs a good body shot into Acra's ribs.

Acra shoots in looking for a takedown. Goon tries to sprawl out of it but Acra keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Goon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Acra seems to have got his legs back now.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Goon counters with a nice uppercut.
Goon is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Acra had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Goon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Mikal Goon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Acra takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Goon steps in with a hook that catches Acra right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Goon follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Acra looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikal Goon!
