Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kobashigawa Jakuchu (ranked 5208 p4p, 4939 weight class) and Rohan Axelsson (ranked 0 p4p, 618 weight class). Kobashigawa Jakuchu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kobashigawa Jakuchu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rohan Axelsson! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Axelsson has Jakuchu up against the cage in a clinch.
Axelsson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Axelsson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Axelsson has Jakuchu pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Axelsson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jakuchu tumbling to the mat - Axelsson dives into Jakuchu's guard. Axelsson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jakuchu's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Axelsson scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Axelsson tries to stand but Jakuchu is controlling from the bottom. Jakuchu looking for a guillotine here but Axelsson defends easily.
Axelsson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Axelsson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Axelsson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jakuchu has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Axelsson is looking to defend but Jakuchu has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Axelsson! Jakuchu pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Axelsson taps out and this one is all over!
