Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mister Man!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brad Beaver!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man throws a low kick but Beaver avoids it.
Beaver shoots in for a takedown but Man shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Man takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Beaver tries to score a power double leg takedown but Man sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Beaver somewhat.

Beaver moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Man as Beaver tries to tie him up.
Beaver has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Man avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Mister Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Beaver.
Beaver is trying to drag Man to the mat but Man just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Man throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

As Man backs off Beaver throws a huge counter combo but Man manages to avoid it all.

Beaver wants to get back to striking at distance but Man won't allow it.
Man looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Man has Beaver pressed against the cage, preventing Beaver from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Beaver jumps guard but Man stands there with Beaver around his waist. Beaver gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Man looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Man tries to circle away but Beaver has him pinned against the cage.

Man breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Beaver tries to clinch but Man is having none of it.
Beaver moves in looking to clinch but Man pushes him off.
Man is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Beaver.

Man clinches with his opponent.
Man gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Beaver.
Beaver prevents a takedown attempt there.

Beaver's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Man decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Man is looking to take a break and control but Beaver is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Man has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Man drops an elbow to the side of Beaver's head.

Beaver tries to roll over but Man keeps him under control.

Man wants to pass the guard but Beaver is defending well.

Man gets the takedown into side control.
Beaver gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Man won't let Beaver get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Beaver gets back to half guard.
Man wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beaver keeps working.
Man is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Beaver can do to turn this around?
Man is really struggling to control Beaver but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Man winds up and cracks Beaver with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Man lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Beaver is breathing heavily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Man connects with a nice short shot to Beaver's temple.

Man looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Man moves into full mount! Beaver won't be happy about that!
BOOM! Man connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Man lands with some strikes.

Man lands a heavy elbow.
Man controlling from the full mount.
Mister Man overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Beaver is rocked!
Man with a couple of short strikes.
Beaver is still in real trouble! Can Man finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Beaver takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Man's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
