Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yusif Abiyev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Celeste Glasgow!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glasgow avoids the head kick by Abiyev.
Abiyev wants to clinch.
Glasgow has his takedown stuffed
and Abiyev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Abiyev lands a nice looking body kick.
Abiyev clinches up against the cage.
Abiyev tries to circle away but Glasgow has him pinned against the cage.
Glasgow breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Abiyev bucks up and tries to throw Glasgow off but instead Glasgow has got his back!
Glasgow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Abiyev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Abiyev throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Glasgow's waist but Glasgow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Abiyev off to one side.

Glasgow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Abiyev sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Glasgow somewhat.
Yusif Abiyev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Celeste Glasgow.

Abiyev wants to stand and escape but Glasgow is having none of it.

and Glasgow counters with a shoot takedown. Abiyev fights it but they end up in guard.
Abiyev wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Glasgow manages to pass to side control.
