Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winston fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jameson manages to avoid it.
Jameson misses with the combination.
Jameson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Winston takes the fight into the clinch.
Jameson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Winston after a bit of a struggle.
Winston prevents a takedown attempt there.
Winston fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Winston creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Winston stops a takedown attempt from Jameson.
Piney Winston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamal Jameson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winston lands a good knee to the midsection. Jameson won't want to take too many of those.

Jameson is trying to drag Winston to the mat but Winston just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jameson is trying to trip Winston. He has hold of a leg but Winston is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jameson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Winston wants to get back to his feet but Jameson passes into half guard.

Winston has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jameson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've been hearing good reports from Winston's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Winston escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jameson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Winston had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jameson defends it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Winston is looking to cinch up a triangle. Jameson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Winston's body to avoid the submission. Winston has instead reached around Jameson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Winston arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Piney Winston decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
