Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hendereson (ranked 24707 p4p, 4732 weight class) and Peter Kropotkin (ranked 333 p4p, 251 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Hendereson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Kropotkin! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hendereson checks a low kick from Kropotkin. Kropotkin walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hendereson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Kropotkin clinches with his opponent.
Hendereson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kropotkin smiles and moves away.
No joy there for Kropotkin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hendereson is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hendereson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hendereson is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Hendereson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kropotkin regains guard immediately.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kropotkin looking for a sweep. Not yet Kropotkin, not yet. Kropotkin is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Kropotkin tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hendereson trying to control but Kropotkin is working from the bottom. Hendereson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kropotkin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kropotkin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kropotkin!
Kropotkin has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kropotkin throws the kick towards the body but Hendereson avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kropotkin!
Kropotkin's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kropotkin duly obliges. Kropotkin looks to score with a jab to the body but Hendereson is just out of range. Hendereson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kropotkin instigates a clinch. Kropotkin managing to block the knees to the body from Hendereson.
Kropotkin stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kropotkin just leaning against Hendereson, taking a breather. Hendereson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hendereson tries for a takedown but Kropotkin manages to get underhooks.
Hendereson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kropotkin is pressed up against the cage. Hendereson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kropotkin down to the mat. Kropotkin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kropotkin works Hendereson's body with a nice hook. Kropotkin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hendereson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kropotkin has managed to clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Kropotkin taking a breather. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hendereson is trying to drag Kropotkin to the mat but Kropotkin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Kropotkin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! Kropotkin misses with a head kick.
Kropotkin misses with a hook. Kropotkin's coach down at Puncher's Chance Collective was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kropotkin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Kropotkin throws a hook but Hendereson blocks it. Kropotkin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hendereson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The fight moves into the clinch position. Hendereson controlling the action here for a moment.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kropotkin takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Kropotkin is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Kropotkin receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Hendereson looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hendereson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kropotkin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Hendereson jumps guard but Kropotkin stands there with Hendereson around his waist. Hendereson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kropotkin is pushing Hendereson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Kropotkin prevents the takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kropotkin lands with a short shot to the head. A short right from Kropotkin on the inside. Hendereson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kropotkin walks away with a smile on his face. Hendereson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kropotkin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hendereson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kropotkin was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Kropotkin takes the fight into the clinch. Hendereson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kropotkin fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kropotkin rushes Hendereson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Kropotkin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kropotkin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
