The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longo throws a leg kick but Impala moved away.

Longo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Impala takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A head kick misses from Impala .
Longo closes the distance and clinches up with Impala , looking for a takedown. Longo pushes Impala against the cage but Impala circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Impala tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Longo tries to counter with a takedown but Impala is quick to defend against it.
Nice takedown defense from Impala . No joy for Longo on that attempt.
Impala pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Longo.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Longo looks for a takedown but Impala sprawls well.

Impala closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Longo gets control of Impala 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Longo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Longo is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Impala has his hands clasped together but Longo extends and breaks Impala 's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Longo.
