Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rohan Axelsson (ranked 6190 p4p, 6172 weight class) and Kelvin Cadenhead (ranked 677 p4p, 675 weight class). Rohan Axelsson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rohan Axelsson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kelvin Cadenhead! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Axelsson tries to clinch but Cadenhead is having none of it. Axelsson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Axelsson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cadenhead swats him away and circles back towards the center. Axelsson fails in his attempt to clinch. Cadenhead scores with a push kick. Axelsson wants to clinch but Cadenhead slips to the side and Cadenhead counters with a single leg into guard. Axelsson didn't expect that. Axelsson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Cadenhead has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Let's hope that Cadenhead has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. That's one minute gone in the round. Axelsson wants to stand up but Cadenhead is controlling him. Cadenhead scoring with punches to the head and body. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Axelsson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cadenhead is one step ahead there. Cadenhead looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Cadenhead lands a couple of decent looking shots. Cadenhead working some strikes from top position. Axelsson wants to sweep here but Cadenhead controlling him for the moment. Cadenhead postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Cadenhead is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Cadenhead chips away with some ground and pound. Axelsson wants to stand and escape but Cadenhead is having none of it. Cadenhead controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Cadenhead makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Cadenhead seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Axelsson can't keep his opponent in guard - Cadenhead advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Cadenhead trying to control the pace. Cadenhead winds up and cracks Axelsson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Axelsson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Cadenhead lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Axelsson is trying to maintain the position but Cadenhead is very close to passing his half guard. Cadenhead content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cadenhead working the head and body with strikes. Cadenhead scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Cadenhead slips a nice elbow through Axelsson's hands, connecting with Axelsson's forehead. Cadenhead slows the pace down in half guard. Cadenhead lands strikes from half guard. Cadenhead landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cadenhead perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kelvin Cadenhead dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Jab from Cadenhead. Cadenhead has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Axelsson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cadenhead to score an easy takedown into full guard. Cadenhead lands a couple of decent looking shots. Axelsson can't keep his opponent in guard - Cadenhead advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Axelsson is trying to get back to full guard. Axelsson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cadenhead lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Cadenhead keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Cadenhead working over Axelsson with some ground and pound. Axelsson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Cadenhead content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Cadenhead. Axelsson taking some punishment here, with Cadenhead in his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cadenhead looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Axelsson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Axelsson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Still in half guard, Cadenhead seems content to control. Cadenhead working over Axelsson with some ground and pound. Axelsson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cadenhead in particular looking to stall. Cadenhead works his foot free and advances to mount. Cadenhead putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Oh Axelsson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Cadenhead in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Cadenhead looking to control and managing it successfully. Cadenhead postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Axelsson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Cadenhead around the waist but Cadenhead pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Cadenhead is the winner by TKO! Cadenhead jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kelvin Cadenhead! Kelvin Cadenhead decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
