Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shaqiup Ezzeli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephen Steve!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve stuffs the takedown attempt from Ezzeli. Ezzeli gets slowly back to his feet.
Ezzeli shoots in but no luck this time.
Ezzeli misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shaqiup Ezzeli. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ezzeli tries for a takedown but Steve circles away easily
and Steve counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ezzeli could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ezzeli shoots in for a double leg but Steve sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Steve keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Steve! But no joy.
Steve cracks Ezzeli with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ezzeli looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Steve finish him?
Ezzeli is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ezzeli loses concentration momentarily and Steve pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Ezzeli crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Steve finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Stephen Steve!
A relieved looking Stephen Steve thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Shaqiup Ezzeli stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thanks to Hectors Hitters gym, i will work more there to come back stronger!'.
