Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abdullah Zaire (ranked 3496 p4p, 3318 weight class) and Johnny Somebody (ranked 448 p4p, 427 weight class). Somebody has chosen America, Fuck Yeah! as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaire ducks under a wild hook from Somebody.

Zaire looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Somebody has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

I was talking to Zaire's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Somebody with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Zaire to score with a decent uppercut.

Zaire throws an overhand right that drops Somebody like a sack of potatoes! Zaire dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
