Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Lancaster (ranked 149 p4p, 157 weight class) and Lenny Kowalski (ranked 32 p4p, 34 weight class). Oliver Lancaster has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Lancaster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lenny Kowalski!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster takes a swing at Kowalski's ribcage but misses.
A jab from Lancaster misses.
Kowalski shapes to counter with a head kick.
Lancaster misses with a left hand
and Kowalski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lancaster throws a lazy uppercut
and Kowalski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lancaster looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A shot to the body from Lancaster misses
and Kowalski connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lancaster throws a sloppy body shot

and Kowalski counters with a big uppercut that knocks Lancaster off his feet! Kowalski dives into side control looking to finish!

Lancaster is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lancaster can't do much from the bottom here.
Kowalski misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Lancaster tries to control but Kowalski manages to take his back.

Kowalski has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Kowalski is striking from the back but Lancaster escapes and manages to recover to half guard.

Kowalski trying to advance position but Lancaster counters by regaining guard.
Kowalski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lancaster swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kowalski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lancaster is controlling Kowalski's posture.
Kowalski is looking to work some ground and pound but Lancaster has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kowalski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lancaster swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kowalski with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kowalski tries to free his leg and advance position but Lancaster is retaining full guard.
Kowalski throws an elbow that misses. Lancaster uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kowalski's guard. Nice move by Lancaster!


Lancaster stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Lancaster lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lancaster throws a right hand that misses
and Kowalski counters with a nice uppercut.
Kowalski slips a jab from Lancaster.
Kowalski throws out a counter right but Lancaster avoids it with no problem.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Kowalski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lancaster.
Lancaster scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A slow jab from Lancaster misses its intended target.
Nice defenses there by Kowalski.
Lancaster misses with a hook
letting Kowalski counter with a right hand.
Oliver Lancaster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kowalski slips under a jab.
Kowalski is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Lancaster with a body shot.
Jab, jab by Lancaster - just one landing.

It looks like Lenny Kowalski has been cut.
Lancaster misses with a straight left.
Lancaster throws a hook to the side of Kowalski's head but Kowalski sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kowalski tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Lancaster misses with a left hand
and Kowalski counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Lancaster lands a big right hand that sends Kowalski crashing to the mat! Lancaster stays standing though and waves Kowalski back to his feet!

Kowalski is rocked!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Lenny Kowalski will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Lancaster throws a body shot but no joy.
Lancaster swings widly with a right hand
and Kowalski counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lancaster misses with a hook
and Kowalski counters with a huge left! Lancaster is in big trouble! He's backing up but Kowalski isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Lancaster from any more damage. A dominating finish by Kowalski!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lenny Kowalski!
A very excited looking Lenny Kowalski rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
