Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darren Bentt (ranked 25090 p4p, 3580 weight class) and Yoshimitsu Kunimitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kunimitsu has chosen Kickboxer Soundtrack as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Darren Bentt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yoshimitsu Kunimitsu !
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bentt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Kunimitsu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kunimitsu wants it to stay on the feet.
Kunimitsu shoots in looking for a takedown but Bentt manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kunimitsu 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bentt stands up and waves to Kunimitsu to follow him.

Kunimitsu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bentt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bentt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kunimitsu shoots in looking for a takedown. Bentt tries to sprawl out of it but Kunimitsu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bentt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bentt looks for the body kick but Kunimitsu saw that one coming.

Bentt lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bentt.

Kunimitsu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bentt moves away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kunimitsu swings around for an armbar but Bentt sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kunimitsu 's guard.

Bentt stands and steps away. Kunimitsu gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kunimitsu can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bentt takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Darren Bentt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
