The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Schneider throws a hook to the side of Hardy's head but Hardy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Schneider throws a hook but Hardy blocks it.
Hardy tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Schneider manages to circle out of the way.

A quick step to the side and Hardy tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Schneider throws a hook but Hardy avoids it easily.
Schneider keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nice defenses there by Hardy.
Hardy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Schneider.
Schneider misses with an uppercut. Hardy saw that one coming.
Schneider throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hardy on the side of the head.

Hardy moves into the clinch.

Hardy manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Schneider wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Hardy's closed guard. He's half up but Hardy has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Hardy pivots and extends the arm, Schneider falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Hardy! Well done that man!

A relieved looking Nero Hardy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
