Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bevan Bricker (ranked 3383 p4p, 5073 weight class) and Mateo Garcia (ranked 397 p4p, 514 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bevan Bricker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mateo Garcia! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Bricker avoids the head kick by Garcia.
Garcia gets tackled into the ropes by Bricker. Bricker maintains the clinch. Garcia stalling in the clinch but Bricker improves position. Bricker breaks the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Bevan Bricker will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! Bricker circles away from the clinch attempt and Bricker counters with a series of strikes. Garcia will be more careful next time no doubt. Bricker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bevan Bricker. I think Bricker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
