Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenning walks into a left hand.
Jenning wants to clinch up but Da Silva keeps it at a distance.
Joao Da Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Da Silva cracks Jenning with a right hand to the side of the head.
Da Silva lands a nice looking body shot.
Da Silva lands a nice looking kick to the body. Jenning takes a step back to recover.
No luck for Jenning with that takedown attempt.
Da Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jenning takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Da Silva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jenning has time to react.
Jenning shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Da Silva sprawls well. Da Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jenning gets slowly back to his feet.

Da Silva cracks Jenning with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jenning's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Da Silva connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jenning scrambles back to his feet.
Da Silva lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A solid leg kick lands there for Da Silva.
Jab, jab by Da Silva - just one landing.
Jenning fails with a takedown attempt.
Joao Da Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xavier Jenning.

A nice leg kick from Da Silva, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jenning clinches up with Da Silva and pushes him back against the cage.
Jenning pulls guard effortlessly.
Da Silva has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Jenning looking for a triangle here. Da Silva is fighting it but it looks tight! Jenning pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Da Silva is tapping out - this one is all over!
